Please Don't Hit Me (Bill Casey)

Please don't hit me I'm fragile. I'm brittle and blue
Osteoporosis may have finally come through
Don't bump me or jolt me, or kick with your shoe,
Please don't hit me I'm fragile. I'm brittle and blue (or I might hit you)

Last week I was walking, for my health - it is true
When a kid on his skateboard came barreling thru,
He jumped past my shoulder, and I just feel flat,
I looked like a turtle, spinning 'round on his back.

When I looked he was airborne, up a ramp to my right,
I rolled on my stomach to see such a sight.
As I looked in amazement, How could he do that?
Another kid landed, in the small of my back.

I groaned and I grimaced, saw stars dance around,
Pulled up on a park bench, slowly turned 'round,
Then there to my horror, again to my right,
Another kid jumping and then he took it to flight.

He flew high above me, laughed as he went by,
I jumped to me feet and passed everyone by,
When I finally settled, at home on my couch,
I vowed in contentment to stay in my house.

Please don't hit me I'm fragile. I'm brittle and blue
Osteoporosis may have finally come through
Don't bump me or jolt me, or kick with your shoe,
Please don't hit me I'm fragile. or I might hit you.
